Orsi Vigneto San Vito
Orsi Vigneto San Vito Posca Rossa NV
Drawn from a long-running perpetual vat, the red version is topped up almost monthly with younger wine, bringing several harvests together. Fermentation is spontaneous, and the wine is neither clarified nor filtered. The vineyards are cultivated biodynamically. The cuvée is continually evolving and is intended as a daily wine. The bottle uses a glass closure with a separate sealing ring.
Orsi Vigneto San Vito 2018 Grotto Pignoletto
Deep straw yellow, with tropical fruit, citrus zest and white flowers, this white wine is fruity, slightly mineral and persistent. Made entirely from Pignoletto, it comes from biodynamically farmed vines at 200 metres on limestone and clay. The grapes are hand-harvested, fermented spontaneously in large Slavonian-oak barrels, aged nine months on the lees and given six months in bottle.
Orsi Vigneto San Vito 2019 Barbera Martignone
Barbera grows in heavy clay over limestone under certified biodynamic farming. Maceration lasts one month. Fermentation and twelve months of ageing take place in botti, and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration. Sulphur use varies with the sanitary condition of the grapes; some years receive none, while other years see a small addition at harvest or bottling.
