Subtle savoury notes join a lively mouthfeel and lingering finish. The fruit comes from the Wahluke area of Washington and was pressed there before the must travelled to British Columbia for winemaking.

The finish is crisp and refreshing, with a subtle savoury edge. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon form the blend, with short skin contact and cool stainless-steel fermentation. The stated composition is sixty-two percent Merlot and thirty-eight percent Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wine contains 13.5 percent alcohol, with a pH of 3.32, total acidity of 5.9 grams per litre and residual sugar of 2.1 grams per litre.

Green apple, key lime and a hint of butterscotch sit with a textured, rounded mouthfeel and balanced acidity, followed by mineral character on the finish. The Chardonnay was whole-cluster pressed, fermented in stainless steel without malolactic conversion, and aged on lees. It carries 13.5 percent alcohol and comes from Stony Knoll Vineyard in Okanagan Falls.
