The palate is intense yet composed, with whole botanicals giving the spirit depth rather than artificial sweetness. Traditional copper-pot distillation at the historic Combier Distillery in France's Loire Valley preserves a classic, herb-driven style, while the finish remains moderately long and savoury. Serve traditionally by slowly adding cold water, with sugar optional, or use a small measure to perfume a Sazerac or Corpse Reviver No. 2.
