Lornano

Tangerine peel and citrus blossom accompany cherry, strawberry, graphite, pencil shavings and pepper. Cherry returns on the palate with peppery earthiness, warming acidity and firm, taut tannins. The wine is made from Sangiovese. Temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel with fifteen to eighteen days on skins, followed by malolactic fermentation in French oak and twelve months of oak maturation.
