AboutKrug
Joseph Krug founded his Champagne house in Reims in 1843, aiming to make a generous Champagne every year despite differences in weather and harvest. Wines from individual vineyard plots are assessed separately before blending, and the house keeps a library of reserve wines from many years.
These reserves are central to Grande Cuvée, which is created anew each year. Its numbered Éditions distinguish the different compositions, bringing wines from multiple harvests together in each blend.

French Wine
Roasted hazelnut, citrus peel and dried flowers lead into layers of brioche, honey and warm gingerbread spice. The palate is generous yet precise, with fine bubbles carrying ripe and candied fruit through a creamy, energetic centre. Almond and nougat bring savoury richness without dulling the freshness. The finish is long and finely balanced, lingering on citrus, toast and delicately spiced nutty notes.

French Sparkling
Pastry cream, dried fruit and pear lead into warm spice, fresh bread and vanilla. The palate is pillowy yet vivid, with baked nectarine, lime blossom, candied citrus and ground coffee unfolding around fine, lively bubbles. Grilled almond and quince add savoury depth to the long, mouthwatering finish.
