AboutGuillaume Vrignaud

The Vrignaud family planted its first vines around Fontenay-près-Chablis in 1955, but the domaine’s modern chapter began when Guillaume moved the harvest from cooperative delivery toward estate bottling in 1999. From its base at Fontenay-près-Chablis, the domaine works across Petit Chablis, Chablis, several Premier Cru sites and Grand Cru Blanchot.

Most of the vineyards are farmed organically, with Mont de Milieu the exception. Guillaume favours lean Chablis, harvesting before the grapes become overripe. Natural fermentations, stainless steel and lees ageing feature in the cellar.

Guillaume Vrignaud 2023 Chablis

French White
$51.99

White flowers, green apple and lemongrass lead a bright, finely drawn profile. The palate is silken, with subtle lees texture set over a cool river-stone mineral line. Freshness carries the wine cleanly, giving the finish a snappy, lifted feel rather than weight. Precise and food-friendly, it pairs naturally with oysters, white fish, roast poultry or fresh goat cheese.

Guillaume Vrignaud 2023 Chablis 1Er Cru

French White
$81.99

A more concentrated and expressive Chablis showing lifted aromas of lemon oil, ripe citrus, green apple, and white peach layered with crushed shell, flint, and subtle floral tones. The palate is structured and finely textured, with driving acidity, precise mineral tension, and a deeper core of orchard fruit balanced by a chalky, saline backbone. Long and focused on the finish, with persistent citrus zest, wet stone, and a refined, mouth-watering energy that signals excellent aging potential.

Guillaume Vrignaud 2023 Petit Chablis

French White
$42.99

Fresh citrus aromas set a clean, energetic tone, with ripe fruit adding gentle breadth. The palate is full-bodied yet lively, carrying its fruit with clarity and a crisp, composed finish. Straightforward and refreshing without feeling austere, it works equally well as an aperitif or alongside shellfish, grilled fish and lighter summer dishes.

Guillaume Vrignaud 2022 Chablis Premier Cru Magnum 1.5 L

French White
$159.99

This white Burgundy is made from Chardonnay under the Chablis Premier Cru appellation. The estate’s Premier Cru vineyards are farmed organically on limestone-derived soils. Full malolactic fermentation and lees maturation appear across the range. Stainless steel is the common vessel, while certain parcels also involve oak or earthenware. Spring frost, a hot spring and summer drought preceded the early-September harvest.
