Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay are co-fermented from biodynamically farmed Veneto fruit grown near the coast. Caranto soil combines clay with hard calcareous deposits and rocky debris carried by the Piave River. Ripe pear, lychee, creamed wildflower honey and an umeboshi-like sour sensation appear in a creamy, textured profile. The skin-contact wine spends five months in concrete and is bottled without filtration.
