The palate is youthful but well composed, with boiled-sweet notes held in check by warm spice and clean Highland malt. A creamy, gently spiced finish gives the single-cask profile satisfying length. Serve neat or with a few drops of water, alongside shortbread, toasted almonds, apple crumble or a mild, nutty cheese.
