Bright, tart and vividly fruited, this raspberry sour draws its playful character from a sour-candy inspiration and a generous addition of real raspberries. The palate is direct and tangy, with ripe berry flavour carrying through a refreshing finish rather than becoming heavy. Serve well chilled with fried chicken, goat cheese, chocolate cake or fruit desserts; its acidity also works neatly as an aperitif.

German Rauch malt and Scottish peated malt give the beer a pronounced smoky character, layered over chocolate and crystal malts. The palate is thick, creamy and deeply malty, with roasted tones and dark chocolate adding shape beneath the smoke. Despite its scale, the texture stays smooth and composed. Serve lightly chilled with smoked brisket, grilled sausages, braised beef, blue cheese or dark chocolate desserts.
