AboutCatherine & Pierre Breton

Pierre Breton took over his family’s Bourgueil vineyard in 1985, continuing a Loire winegrowing history that spans five generations. Catherine and Pierre added vineyards in Chinon in 1989 and completed the domaine’s conversion to organic and biodynamic farming in 1990. Paul joined Catherine in Vouvray in 2014, while France and Baptiste joined Pierre in Bourgueil in 2018.

Hand-picked grapes are fermented with native yeasts; the wines are bottled unfiltered, with little or no added sulphur. Chenin from Vouvray and Cabernet Franc from Bourgueil and Chinon lead the range, alongside Grolleau and Pineau d’Aunis.
