AboutBruichladdich Distillery

Bruichladdich Distillery was purpose-built on Islay in 1881 by brothers William, John and Robert Harvey, who used the site’s slope to move materials by gravity. After seven years of closure, Mark Reynier, Simon Coughlin and Jim McEwan brought it back to life in 2001.

The whisky is distilled, matured and bottled on Islay, using traceable Scottish barley that includes crops from the island’s own growers. The distillery makes unpeated Bruichladdich, heavily peated Port Charlotte and intensely peated Octomore single malts, as well as The Botanist gin.

Bruichladdich 21 YO Black Art 1989

Scottish Whisky
$1,499.99
Lush and intriguingly aromatic, with almonds, raisins, red plum and strawberry layered over oak, cocoa and fresh floral notes. The palate is creamy and full, balancing chocolate, nuts and wafer biscuit with a saline edge, lemon brightness and restrained spice. Espresso and soft tannin add depth without making the whisky heavy. The finish turns fresher, carrying mint, grape, tangerine and lingering dark chocolate.

Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Second Limited Edition Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Scottish Whisky
$149.99
Brine and orchard fruit lead the nose, with vanilla, roasted nuts and sweet smoke developing underneath. The palate is full-bodied and peaty, bringing medicinal smoke together with toffee, malt, citrus and darker cooked fruit. Maturation across first-fill bourbon, sherry, Tempranillo and French wine casks adds breadth without softening the whisky's maritime character. The finish is long and warming, carrying ash, spice, oak and a final touch of fruit. Serve neat or add water gradually.

Bruichladdich Port Charlotte PC7 Sin An Doigh Ileach

Scottish Whisky
$349.99
Perfumed spice and rising peat smoke meet baked apple, coffee liqueur and a firm line of oak. The palate is rich and forceful, bringing apple crumble, estery fruit and salty butter beneath powerful smoke. A long finish carries peat and spice with sustained warmth. This seven-year-old Islay malt was bottled at cask strength, so a few drops of water can open its detail.

Bruichladdich Octomore 03.1 Five Year Old 152 PPM

Scottish Whisky
$799.99
Bourbon-cask maturation frames an exceptionally peated Islay malt with bonfire smoke, iodine and seaweed. Ash, oak and a measured sweetness follow on the palate, with salty coastal notes and a dry, very long finish. Bottled at cask strength without colouring or chill filtration, it carries formidable intensity but rewards a few drops of water. Serve neat, with water alongside.

Bruichladdich 16 Year Old Bourbon Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Scottish Whisky
$459.99
Soft orchard fruit and vanilla lead a gently sweet aroma, with citrus and malt giving the profile lift. The palate is rounded and supple, combining ripe fruit with light spice, polished wood and a measured cereal note. Oak remains present without taking over. The finish is medium-long and warming, leaving vanilla, malt, citrus peel and a quiet trace of spice in balance.

Bruichladdich Port Charlotte PC6 Cuairt-Beatha 2001 6 Year Old

Scottish Whisky
$899.99
Peaty and energetic, with wood smoke, maraschino cherry and toasted pastry lifted by a grapey sweetness. The palate is balanced but forceful, bringing warm spice, oak and ripe fruit through a firm layer of peat. A quinine-like bitterness adds definition without taking over. The finish is long and smoky, tapering through cardamom, ginger and a final touch of fruit.

Bruichladdich Octomore 07.1/208 Scottish Barley 5 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Scottish Whisky
$429.99
Intense yet surprisingly fresh, opening with mineral smoke, lemon and anise over savoury bacon and a touch of sea air. The palate brings forceful peat without losing definition, layering caramel, vanilla and hazelnut through the smoke. American oak adds rounded sweetness and structure. The finish is long, warming and resonant, with tobacco smoke, vanilla and a clean mineral edge lingering together.

Port Charlotte PC8 Ar Duthchas 8 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Scottish Whisky
$499.99
Dense peat smoke leads from the first aroma through the palate, joined by tart citrus, black coffee and a rich buttery texture. Pronounced sweetness keeps the smoke from becoming severe, while cracked pepper and a savoury, lightly medicinal edge add definition. The finish is long, warming and mouth-coating, with peat, citrus and dark roast lingering in firm balance.
