Bruichladdich Distillery
Bruichladdich Octomore 07.1/208 Scottish Barley 5 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Intense yet surprisingly fresh, opening with mineral smoke, lemon and anise over savoury bacon and a touch of sea air. The palate brings forceful peat without losing definition, layering caramel, vanilla and hazelnut through the smoke. American oak adds rounded sweetness and structure. The finish is long, warming and resonant, with tobacco smoke, vanilla and a clean mineral edge lingering together.
Bruichladdich 16 Year Old Bourbon Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Soft orchard fruit and vanilla lead a gently sweet aroma, with citrus and malt giving the profile lift. The palate is rounded and supple, combining ripe fruit with light spice, polished wood and a measured cereal note. Oak remains present without taking over. The finish is medium-long and warming, leaving vanilla, malt, citrus peel and a quiet trace of spice in balance.
Port Charlotte PC8 Ar Duthchas 8 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Dense peat smoke leads from the first aroma through the palate, joined by tart citrus, black coffee and a rich buttery texture. Pronounced sweetness keeps the smoke from becoming severe, while cracked pepper and a savoury, lightly medicinal edge add definition. The finish is long, warming and mouth-coating, with peat, citrus and dark roast lingering in firm balance.
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte PC6 Cuairt-Beatha 2001 6 Year Old
Peaty and energetic, with wood smoke, maraschino cherry and toasted pastry lifted by a grapey sweetness. The palate is balanced but forceful, bringing warm spice, oak and ripe fruit through a firm layer of peat. A quinine-like bitterness adds definition without taking over. The finish is long and smoky, tapering through cardamom, ginger and a final touch of fruit.
