AboutArnaud de Villeneuve

Arnaud de Villeneuve is a Roussillon cooperative whose roots go back to a shared cellar opened by growers in Salses-le-Château in 1909. Its vineyards spread across the northern Roussillon plain between the Corbières, the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. Plains and terraces bring together red soils, black marl, pebbles and schist.

The house makes dry wines alongside the region’s fortified specialities, where Grenache, Muscat and Macabeu play central roles. Rivesaltes Ambré undergoes oxidative maturation, while the vintage Rivesaltes collection spends extended time in oak before final blending.

Gingerbread and complex rancio aromas open into fresh hazelnut and bitter-orange marmalade. Serve lightly chilled with nut pastries, orange cake, blue cheese or a square of dark chocolate.
