AboutAgrosan Sicilia

Agrosan Sicilia was founded in 1995 by Alfio Caramagno and Fabio Parziano, friends and university classmates who built the company around Sicilian liqueur traditions. Amaro dell’Etna’s recipe was created in the early 1900s by Giuseppe Calì Tabuso in Macchia di Giarre, on Etna’s eastern side. After the Calì family left production in the 1990s, the company and recipe passed to Agrosan’s founders in the early 2000s.

The standard Amaro dell’Etna is made by infusing 26 herbs, fruits, roots and flowers, with bitter orange and liquorice among its defining notes.

Agrosan Amaro dell’Etna

Italian Liqueur
$81.99

Bitter orange and liquorice lead a layered Sicilian amaro, supported by rhubarb, dried herbs and a gently earthy root note. An infusion of herbs, fruits, roots and flowers gives the palate breadth, while the original recipe keeps sweetness and bitterness in composed balance. Vanilla and a faint cocoa tone soften the middle before orange peel and spicy rhubarb return on the finish. Serve neat, over ice or as a structured herbal modifier in cocktails.
