Suggested pairings include seafood pasta, fish, sushi, sashimi and lightly seasoned cheese. It can also be served chilled on its own.
Carlo Pellegrino Marsala Fine Semisecco DOC
Quince, orange peel and dried apricot shape the aromatic profile of this amber Marsala. The palate is delicate and harmonious, with a slight citrus finish. Grillo, Catarratto and Inzolia form the blend. The wine comes from western Sicily and spends more than twelve months in oak. Alcohol is 17 percent, and the style is semisecco.
Mare Magnum Gloria 2023 Organic Grillo Sicilia DOC
Bright golden yellow colour accompanies citrus, pineapple, peach and lychee. The palate is dry and fruity, with citrus, tropical fruit and light floral notes. Fresh acidity carries the profile to a crisp finish. Grillo comes from Sicily under the Sicilia DOC designation. The wine is organically produced and vegan, and its light-bodied style centres on clean fruit rather than oak.
Fratelli Fici Marsala Superiore Secco
Amber colour shows antique-gold reflections, with an ethereal aroma and dry palate. Grillo, Catarratto, Inzolia and Damaschino are harvested by hand in the province of Trapani. Fermentation begins in temperature-controlled steel before fortification with alcohol or wine brandy and cooked must. Oak ageing lasts at least two years. The wine contains eighteen percent alcohol and can accompany mature cheeses, smoked-fish appetizers or dessert.
Planeta 2020 Terebinto Grillo

The grapes come from Gurra vineyard at Menfi in Sicily. Fermentation and maturation take place in stainless steel. The vines grow on clay and limestone, and harvesting occurs during the first week of September. The wine is made entirely from Grillo.
Florio 2020 VecchioFlorio Marsala Superiore Sweet
Amber in colour with bright caramel tones, this opens on raisins, vanilla and dried fruit. The palate is warm and rounded, with a generous texture balanced by the wine’s savoury fortified character. Barrel ageing brings quiet depth without obscuring the fruit, while the sweetness remains measured and composed. It finishes with lingering raisin, dried fruit, vanilla and a gentle echo of caramel.
Zanotto 2015 Latifondo
Bread crust, toasted nuts and warm spice open into lemon zest and crisp yellow fruit. The palate is lively and firmly dry, with brisk acidity giving the gently sparkling texture a clean, energetic line. Subtle earthy and savoury notes add depth without weight, while a persistent saline edge carries citrus and lees character through the focused finish.
Feudo Maccari 2023 Olli Grillo
Yellow peach and fresh flowers lead, with a quiet note of sweet almond beneath. Full and generous on the palate, it remains savoury and balanced, with enough freshness to keep the ripe fruit clear through the finish. A polished Sicilian white for grilled prawns, roast fish or vegetable antipasti.
Elios 2021 Modus Bibendi Grillo
Citrus and white flowers lead, with a light Mediterranean herbal note adding freshness and definition. The palate is dry, medium-bodied and balanced, carrying lemon, subtle spice and a gently saline edge into a clean finish. Bright and quietly textural, it works well with grilled fish, shellfish, fennel or fresh cheeses.
Elios 2019 Modus Bibendi Bianco Macerato
Burnished orange-gold in the glass, with candied fruit, apricot, orange peel and brown spice. The palate is structured and textural, its light skin tannin and gentle astringency balanced by lively acidity and a fresh herbal lift. Complex but approachable, it suits roast squash, spiced poultry, firm cheese or savoury grain dishes.
