Italian Red
Delicate ruby-red colour accompanies red fruit, sweet spice, violet and rosehip. The palate is energetic and lively, shaped by silky tannins. The blend includes Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Freisa, Albarossa, Slarina and Chatus. Grapes are picked by hand and sorted manually. Each block ferments separately for about twenty days. Maturation lasts approximately four to six months, mainly in stainless steel.
Cascina Tavijn 2019 Vino Rosso
Italian Red
Ruby red, this Barbera and Freisa blend offers red fruit, herbs and undergrowth. The palate is warm and soft, with structure, lively tannins, freshness and a persistent finish. Fermentation and refinement take place over several months in fibreglass tanks. The vineyards are in Scurzolengo, Piedmont, and are farmed organically. The wine is bottled unfiltered at thirteen and a half percent alcohol.
Adriano Marco e Vittorio 2021 Lice Freisa Langhe
Italian Red
Cherry, strawberry, raspberry and rose meet a fresh, vinous character. The palate has moderate body, present tannins and an easy flow. Freisa comes from the family's first planting of the variety, a parcel once belonging to an uncle named Felice. Fermentation is spontaneous in stainless steel, with no wood used. The wine is classified as organic and matures in steel and bottle.
Cascina Tavijn 2018 Rosetta Frizzante Rosé
Italian Rosé
Lightly frizzante and garnet in colour, this rosé shows cherry, white peach, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, rose and spice. A slight sweetness accompanies apricot and fresh-fruit notes. Freisa receives about twenty hours of skin contact, then ferments at low temperature in stainless steel. The wine spends eighteen months in tank, is bottled unfined and unfiltered, and closes with a crown cap. The vines grow on limestone and are farmed without pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Frasca La Guaragna 2022 Freisa d’Asti
Italian Red
Ruby red colour has purple highlights. Wild berries, violet, herbs, redcurrant, mulberry and blackberry accompany black tea, earth and lively acidity. The medium-bodied palate has fine tannins, freshness and a mineral finish. Made entirely from Freisa grown in Moasca, the wine includes thirty percent whole bunches, receives delicate maceration without punch-downs, and matures for four months in a large oak barrel.
