Fresh and fruit-driven, with strawberry and watermelon leading raspberry, lemon and grapefruit. Peach and apricot add a softer orchard-fruit note, while a light mineral edge keeps the palate clean. Crisp acidity carries the dry, refreshing finish. Serve well chilled with prawns, Nicoise salad, grilled vegetables, fresh cheeses or simple tapas; it is equally easy as a warm-weather aperitif.

Blackberry, blackcurrant, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, cherry and plum accompany herbal notes. The palate is full-flavoured and medium-bodied, with acidity, balance and a fruity style. This red blend comes from Lisboa in Portugal and carries 12.5 percent alcohol. Cold maceration is followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Suggested pairings include roasts, pasta and cheese.

Bright ruby colour accompanies young forest fruit. The palate is light, with good texture and fine tannins. Castelão, Trincadeira and Touriga Nacional form the blend. After destemming and crushing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine then remains in stainless steel for four months. Alcohol is 13 percent, and the bottle is closed with a screwcap.

Bright red colour accompanies ripe, soft red fruit and a fresh, approachable character. The palate is balanced, medium-bodied and structured. Castelão, Aragonez and Touriga Nacional form the blend, drawn from clay-based sites in Lisboa. The wine contains 13 percent alcohol. This is a gastronomic red, with suggested food pairings of fish, meat, cheese and pasta.

Dense ruby colour accompanies ripe red and black fruit, spice and liquorice. The palate is smooth and fruity, with good body, concentrated juicy red-fruit flavours and a balanced finish. The blend includes Castelão, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon, and typically spends three to four months in oak barrels. This dry Lisboa red is presented in a three-litre bag-in-box format.

Concentrated dark-violet colour accompanies intense red fruit, subtle menthol and round tannins. The finish is intense and persistent, and the wine is aged in oak. This dry, full-bodied red blends Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Trincadeira, Baga, Castelão, Tinta Carvalha and Tinta Miúda. The fruit is selected from the strongest vineyard blocks, and the wine is drawn from selected barrels.

Castelão grows in a single vineyard of yellow schist at about 450 metres. Vinification uses whole clusters, indigenous yeasts, stainless steel and a cold maceration lasting about one month. The wine spends eighteen months on its lees in used 500-litre barrels. Sour cherry, plum and tart blueberry appear with floral and schist-mineral notes, mouthwatering acidity and soft skin tannins.

The palate is long and structured but finely judged, with bright tannins, silky texture and lifted fruit keeping the wine graceful.
