Fresh strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate open with redcurrant and a distinctly savoury herbal undertone. Delicate natural bubbles leave the ripe red fruit bright and unforced, while gentle acidity gives the palate lift. The finish is dry, lightly textured and energetic, with subtle earthiness beneath the fruit.
Domaine des Tourelles 2020 Vieilles Vignes Cinsault
Wild cherry and raspberry lead, followed by cracked white pepper, dried herbs and worked leather. Fine salts add a mineral note, while long, fine tannins carry the palate. The fruit comes from fifty-year-old, dry-farmed Cinsault in the Western Bekaa, fermented with native yeasts in concrete and aged in neutral French barrels. Pepper, herbs and tannin remain through the finish.
Château Musar 2017 Red
Sweet red cherry, mulberry and plum lead an expressive aroma, lifted by tea leaf, liquorice and gentle spice. The palate has generous fruit depth, fresh balanced acidity and soft, well-integrated tannins. Savoury complexity builds gradually without obscuring the bright core of fruit. The finish is long and elegant, carrying dried herbs, red berries and a subtle earthy warmth. Further cellaring will bring added harmony.
Château Musar 2016 Magnum
Red cherry, plum, carob and fig shape a deep, generous aroma, lifted by a measured thread of eastern spice. The palate carries kirsch and plum into blackcurrant and dark chocolate, with velvety tannins providing quiet structure. Fruit concentration gives the wine depth without dulling its freshness. The finish is long and composed, leaving cherry, spice and cocoa.
