Macharnudo

This unfortified Palomino comes from a four-hectare plot in Macharnudo at seventy-four metres elevation. The vines are listed as fifteen years old and grow on chalk, limestone, clay and sand. After pressing, the juice ferments at controlled temperature in stainless-steel and epoxy-lined tanks. Production is listed at roughly one hundred fifty cases, with alcohol between twelve and thirteen-and-a-half percent.
