Juicy plum, dark cherry, tarragon, thyme and a hint of iodine appear with ripe dark fruit, wild game and fine-grained tannins. Black-pepper spice marks the finish. The fruit comes from South Rock Vineyard on the Golden Mile Bench in Oliver, and fermentation uses entirely whole berries. The wine is rich and smooth, with a savoury core.
Culmina 2014 Merlot
Canadian Red
Plum, cherry, blackberry, anise, sweet and savoury spices, and toasted oak form the profile of this Merlot. Ripe dark and red berries meet toasted vanilla spice in a supple, smooth texture. Fruit from Arise Bench on the Golden Mile Bench is bottled unfiltered and unfined. Maturation lasts sixteen months in French oak, with fifteen percent new barrels.

Blackberry and pepper shape a bold, jammy profile with smooth texture. The Zinfandel comes from South Rock Vineyard on the Golden Mile Bench in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. This historic twelve-acre site lies at the southern tip of the bench on a gentle east-facing slope, where morning sun and afternoon mountain shade mark the vineyard setting.

Red and black berries, currant, tobacco, bell pepper, herbs and anise define the profile. Integrated tannins, medium acidity and a long, clean, balanced finish are present. The blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot, with Cabernet Sauvignon making up at least half. The wine comes from Golden Mile Bench in British Columbia.

Medium ruby-purple colour accompanies ripe cherry and liquorice. The wine is dry, with medium-plus acidity and full, ripe tannins. Cherry, plum, cassis, spice and tobacco appear, with a long finish. Cabernet Sauvignon leads the blend, joined by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Mint, blackcurrant and spicy cherry are also present. Production totalled three hundred cases.
Gehringer 2023 Minus 9 Ehrenfelser Icewine
Canadian Dessert
Concentrated apricot, honey, orange blossom and citrus appear in this icewine. Apricot jam accompanies lively acidity and a clean, persistent finish. Fruit comes from the Golden Mile Bench in the Okanagan Valley. Ehrenfelser grapes were harvested frozen at minus nine degrees Celsius. The analysis records 248 grams per litre of residual sugar, 10.9 grams per litre of total acidity and 11 percent alcohol.

Raspberry, cassis and ripe black cherry open an expressive, dark-fruited profile, with mulberry and a cool thread of spearmint. The palate is full and structured without becoming heavy, layering licorice, earth and cigar-box savouriness around the fruit. Fine-grained tannins provide a measured frame and carry the finish with clarity.

Truffle and stewed fruit open the nose, followed by fresh black fruit and a measured oak frame. The palate is clean and mineral, carrying its depth with definition rather than heaviness. A composed Bordeaux-style blend with firm structure and a dry finish, it suits roast beef, grilled lamb, braised short ribs, mushrooms or firm aged cheese.

Dark fruit, cassis and prune lead, joined by leather and a measured tobacco note. The palate is broad and silky, with red currant and plum adding lift around a dry, medium-bodied frame. Smooth, still-present tannins give shape, while dark chocolate and savoury maturity settle into a balanced, medium-length finish.
Rust 2020 Solus

Dense black cherry and blackberry meet espresso, dark chocolate and toasted cedar in a compact, full-bodied red. Chewy tannins frame the concentrated fruit, while a firm cocoa bitterness keeps the finish savoury and composed. Structured and cellar-worthy, it benefits from air and suits deeply flavoured beef or mushroom dishes.
