Conca de Barberà
Carlania Celler 2018 El Petit Carlania
This light, fluid Trepat red comes from Conca de Barbera and organically and biodynamically farmed fruit. The wine is unsulphured and presented as natural. Pomegranate colour accompanies floral and fruity aromas, spice and blueberry. The palate is fresh, fruity and spicy, with a dry finish. The vines grow above four hundred metres and are more than fifty years old.
Jordi Llorens 2021 Blankaforti
Cherry, pomegranate and a touch of liquorice accompany ripe fruit. The palate is juicy and fresh, with supple tannins and a light spritz when first opened. Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Syrah grow on limestone in Catalonia. The wine is made without fining or filtration and without added sulphur. It is a red wine from Conca de Barberà.
Escoda-Sanahuja 2019 Mas del Gaio
Light and fragrant, the skin-contact white is tightly woven, firm and concentrated. Tropical fruit and salinity are present, with a long finish. Parellada forms half of the blend, joined by Grenache Blanc and Macabeu from old vines. After eight days of skin contact, fermentation takes place in amphora. The wine remains in amphora for eight months before moving to old oak.
Celler Escoda-Sanahuja 2019 Nas del Gegant Red 1.5 L
Strawberry, raspberry and cherry lead, with plum and darker berry fruit adding depth. Earth, leather and mineral notes give the aromas a savoury edge, while pepper, thyme and a touch of white pepper bring lift. The palate is dry and energetic, with a firm but balanced shape. Red fruit returns on the finish alongside earthy detail and gentle spice.
Escoda-Sanahuja 2018 Els Bassotets
Ripe peach and orchard fruit lead, with honey and white flowers adding aromatic warmth. The palate is dry, fresh and textural, carrying generous fruit through lively acidity and gentle skin-contact grip to a savoury finish. Serve lightly chilled with roast squash, richer fish, hard cheese or warmly spiced vegetable dishes.
Escoda-Sanahuja 2018 La Llopetera
Red cherry and wild strawberry meet cracked pepper, dried herbs and a softly earthy note. The palate is light on its feet yet savoury and textured, with bright acidity, fine grip and subtle oak framing the fruit. Serve slightly cool with grilled vegetables, roast poultry, charcuterie or mushroom dishes.
