AboutJordi Llorens
Jordi Llorens comes from a family of winegrowers in Blancafort, in Catalonia’s Conca de Barberà. He released his first vintage in 2008, drawing the estate’s own wines from selected parcels within a mixed farm of about 15 hectares.
Biodynamic principles guide the vineyards, which include Macabeu, Parellada and Garnatxa alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah on calcareous ground. In the cellar he uses spontaneous fermentation and a choice of amphora, steel or older wood, with additions kept to a minimum.

Spanish Red
Cherry, pomegranate and a touch of liquorice accompany ripe fruit. The palate is juicy and fresh, with supple tannins and a light spritz when first opened. Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Syrah grow on limestone in Catalonia. The wine is made without fining or filtration and without added sulphur. It is a red wine from Conca de Barberà.
