Roasted almond, nougat, fig, orange peel and light fruitcake form an accessible tawny profile. The mouthfeel is soft, with rustic edges and a short finish carrying noticeable alcohol warmth. Touriga Nacional is joined by Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Cão. This non-vintage Port comes from Portugal’s Douro Valley and can be served slightly chilled with fruitcake or crème caramel.
