Argiolas 2024 Costamolino Vermentino di Sardegna

Ripe lemon, green apple, papaya and passion fruit appear with flowers, light honey and fresh herbs. The palate is fresh and dry, with mineral notes, spice and a clean finish. Vermentino accounts for 95 percent of the blend, and the vines grow on Sardinian hills around 190 metres. Production includes controlled-temperature fermentation for twenty days and a brief period on fine lees.

About Argiolas
Argiolas began in 1938 with Antonio Argiolas and a three-hectare holding at Serdiana. His sons Franco and Giuseppe expanded the project, which is now carried forward by grandchildren Valentina, Francesca and Antonio.
Its vineyards span Parteolla, Trexenta and Sulcis, from limestone and clay hills to coastal Carignano sites. Local varieties remain the core, supported by an experimental vineyard at Sibiola dedicated to Sardinian grape diversity. Its range also includes grappa, along with myrtle, lemon and liquorice liqueurs.
