Rivera 2023 Scariazzo Fiano Puglia IGT

Drawn butter and yellow plum meet warm spice, stone fruit and citrus. White flowers appear alongside a full, mineral profile with good acidity. Made entirely from Fiano grown in Puglia, the wine carries thirteen-and-a-half percent alcohol. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with a small portion handled in new barrels. The palate is dry and rounded.

About Rivera
Giuseppe de Corato bought the Rivera estate near Andria in 1921 and developed its vineyards and olive groves. His son Sebastiano founded the winery in the historic cellars in the late 1940s. Carlo de Corato modernized the vineyards and cellar in the 1970s; today, fourth-generation Sebastiano and Marco continue the family business. On the limestone plateaus around Castel del Monte, Rivera grows Puglian varieties including Bombino Bianco, Bombino Nero, Nero di Troia and Fiano for its white, rosé and red wines.
