Slow pressing excludes juice from the final pressings, and fermentation uses neither artificial yeasts nor enzymes. Ageing takes place in stainless-steel vats for six to eight months. Golden colour and green reflections accompany ripe Chardonnay, musk, white flowers and peach, with a round palate and refreshing character. The vineyards occupy Jurassic limestone at Burgundy’s southern end, just north of Beaujolais.

About Maison Joseph Drouhin
Joseph Drouhin founded his Beaune wine house in 1880, establishing a Burgundy name that expanded through successive generations. The domaine now reaches from Chablis through the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise to the Mâconnais, with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay at its centre. Vineyard management began moving toward organic and biodynamic practices in the late 1980s, alongside work to preserve vine diversity through massal selection. The family also established Domaine Drouhin Oregon in the Dundee Hills in 1987, a related transatlantic estate with its own identity.
