Tardieu-Laurent 2024 Tavel Vieilles Vignes

Rolled pebbles, red clay and sand define the vineyard soils. The blend is sixty percent Grenache, twenty-five percent Cinsault and fifteen percent Syrah from vines between forty and fifty years old. Maturation lasts six months in concrete tanks. The wine is bottled without fining and with light filtration. Its palate is chiselled, tighter and less full than usual.

About Maison Tardieu-Laurent
Michel Tardieu founded Maison Tardieu-Laurent in 1996 at Lourmarin, turning years spent visiting and tasting across the Rhône into a specialist wine house. Michel and Michèle work with their children Bastien and Camille in the family business.
The house sources wines from both the northern and southern Rhône, with old-vine parcels featuring across the range. Winemaking and ageing are tailored to each wine.
