Raspberry aromas meet a tender attack and a finish marked by grape-skin texture. Cabernet Franc comes from gravel soils and vines around thirty years old. The grapes are harvested by hand, gently destemmed and cold-macerated in stainless steel. Daily pumpovers are used, and maturation lasts ten months in concrete. The Cabernet Franc vineyard is certified biodynamic.

About Catherine & Pierre Breton
Pierre Breton took over his family’s Bourgueil vineyard in 1985, continuing a Loire winegrowing history that spans five generations. Catherine and Pierre added vineyards in Chinon in 1989 and completed the domaine’s conversion to organic and biodynamic farming in 1990. Paul joined Catherine in Vouvray in 2014, while France and Baptiste joined Pierre in Bourgueil in 2018.
Hand-picked grapes are fermented with native yeasts; the wines are bottled unfiltered, with little or no added sulphur. Chenin from Vouvray and Cabernet Franc from Bourgueil and Chinon lead the range, alongside Grolleau and Pineau d'Aunis.
