About Pelissero
Three generations of the Pelissero family have worked the vines in Treiso, in the Barbaresco region, where the estate made its first wine in 1960. Giorgio Pelissero studied winemaking in Alba and took charge of the winery in the 1990s. The family owns and manages 42 hectares across Treiso, Neive, Barbaresco and Neviglie, using only grapes from its own vineyards.
Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto account for about 85 percent of production. The team handles the work from pruning through winemaking, adapting gentle pressing, temperature-controlled steel tanks and French oak to each wine.
