Ruby colour carries purple and violet reflections. Blackberry, raspberry, blueberry and morello cherry lead the fruit, with red rose, black pepper and damp earth also present. Acidity and softness are balanced, while the tannins leave the palate dry and the finish recalls red fruit. The wine aged for ten months in stainless steel and another two months in bottle.

About Borgo Stajnbech
Three generations of the Valent family have shaped Borgo Stajnbech in Belfiore di Pramaggiore, in the eastern Veneto. Giuliano and Adriana developed the winery together, and their daughters Medea and Rebecca now work in the family business. A seventeenth-century farmhouse stands among the vineyards.
Vineyard work keeps synthetic treatments to a minimum, and the family uses lighter packaging. Local Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grows alongside international red and white varieties.
