Caíño Tinto, Espadeiro and Mencía form this red from Rías Baixas. The varieties grow near the mouth of the Umia River in the Ría de Arousa, among gentle relief, sandy and clay soils and a constant sea breeze. Fermentation uses native yeast in stainless steel, where the wine matures for six months and completes malolactic fermentation. It then rests for three months in oak. Alcohol is eleven percent.
