Diego Conterno 2021 Baluma Langhe Nebbiolo

Red berries, cherries, wild flowers and warm spice appear in a medium-bodied profile with silky texture and ripe tannins. Nebbiolo comes from the Ferrione vineyard near Monforte d’Alba, on a west- to southwest-facing slope with clay and calcareous marl. The grapes are harvested by hand and destemmed. Fermentation uses native yeasts, followed by five months in 500-litre oak and four months in cement.
