Garnet-red colour carries orange reflections. Preserved forest fruit and cherry appear with dried rose petals, tobacco, leather, sweet spices, undergrowth and liquorice. The palate is structured, with integrated tannins and lively acidity. Dark chocolate and mineral notes are present. The finish is long. This dry Nebbiolo comes from Piedmont’s Barolo appellation and is listed at 13.5 percent alcohol.
