Costaripa Brut Rosé NV

Fine, persistent bubbles rise through a pale antique-pink colour. The nose is rounded and expressive, combining ripe fruit, forest berries, vanilla and redcurrant. Chardonnay provides most of the blend, while Pinot Noir adds colour and red-fruit detail; partial fermentation in small white-oak casks brings gentle texture. The finish remains poised and fruit-led, with subtle vanilla and a steady, refined mousse.

About Costaripa
Costaripa’s family history begins in Moniga del Garda in 1928, when Mattia Vezzola senior started producing and selling wine. The first vineyards followed in 1936 and the first rosé in 1938. A later generation’s Mattia Vezzola studied winemaking in Conegliano and visited Champagne before introducing Costaripa’s first traditional-method sparkling wine in 1973.
Rosé remains central to the house, which opened a winery designed primarily for its production in 2004. Pruning and harvesting are done by hand. For the rosés, grapes are picked in the cool early morning, with gravity guiding the cellar work and small white-oak barrels used for fermentation or ageing.
