Amber-hued and richly aromatic, with vanilla opening into citrus peel, dried fruit, almond, raisin and clove. The palate is rounded and generous, layering bitter orange, dates, cocoa and saffron over a softly sweet, spiced frame. Serve over ice with orange peel, lengthen with soda, or use it to give a Negroni or Manhattan added depth; it also works neatly after dinner.
