Macaloney’s An Aba Lightly Peated Canadian Single Malt Whisky

Light peat and spicy pine lead the nose, followed by orange liqueur, tropical fruit and a bright touch of lemon. The palate balances soft smoke with orchard fruit, rum-soaked raisins, vanilla cake and milk chocolate, while liquorice and toasted oak provide structure. A marriage of bourbon, Oloroso, red-wine and fortified-wine casks brings breadth without overwhelming the malt. The finish is warming and gently smoky, carrying citrus, fruit and spice. Serve neat or add water gradually.
