The Glenlivet 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
$154.99
Rich toffee and dark-chocolate ginger biscuits lead a creamy nose, followed by ripe mango and almond. The palate is smooth and rounded, combining sweet fruit with cinnamon and gentle oak spice. Selective finishing in French Limousin oak adds nutty depth without overwhelming the fresh Speyside character. The finish is warm, mellow and persistent, carrying sweet almond, cocoa and baking spice. Serve neat or with a small splash of water.

About The Glenlivet
George Smith obtained the Livet Valley parish’s first legal distilling licence in 1824, beginning The Glenlivet’s licensed history after years of illicit whisky-making in the valley. His youngest son, John Gordon Smith, later took over and secured the right to the name “The Glenlivet” in 1884.
The Speyside distillery draws water from Josie’s Well and distils twice in lantern-shaped copper stills. Its cask choices vary by whisky, using American and European oak, including French Limousin oak, across the range.
