Kettle Valley 2019 McGraw Estate Merlot

Ripe plum and black cherry lead, with blackberry, cocoa and subtle baking spice adding depth. The palate is medium-bodied and supple, framed by polished tannins and a gentle oak note. A savoury edge keeps the fruit composed through a smooth, lingering finish, making it a natural match for roast lamb, mushroom ragout, tomato-based pasta or aged cheeses.

About Kettle Valley Winery
The story of Kettle Valley Winery began with Tim and Janet making wine in an apartment, then moving the hobby into a garage as grape growing entered the picture. By 1987, co-founders Bob Ferguson and Tim Watts had chosen the Naramata Bench and planted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on their first property.
The winery takes its name from the historic railway that ran above its Naramata vineyards. In 2009, it added a 14-acre vineyard in the Similkameen, replanting part of the rocky site to Zinfandel.
