The palate is dry and balanced, bringing ripe dark berries together with supple tannins and enough freshness to keep the finish clean. About Santa Ema
Santa Ema's roots begin with Pedro Pavone, who arrived from Piedmont in 1917 and settled in Chile's Maipo Valley. He acquired land in Isla de Maipo in 1931, and in 1956 founded the winery with his son Félix. Third and fourth generations of the Pavone family remain involved.
