Intense yet surprisingly fresh, opening with mineral smoke, lemon and anise over savoury bacon and a touch of sea air. The palate brings forceful peat without losing definition, layering caramel, vanilla and hazelnut through the smoke. American oak adds rounded sweetness and structure. The finish is long, warming and resonant, with tobacco smoke, vanilla and a clean mineral edge lingering together.
