Bright lemon and grapefruit zest open through peat smoke, iodine and a light touch of heather. The palate is smoky and briny, with medicinal notes moving through a distinctly oily texture. Citrus remains vivid enough to keep the peat energetic and clear. The finish is firm and lingering, carrying coastal salinity, lemon peel, smoke and a measured herbal edge.

About Kilchoman Distillery
Anthony and Kathy Wills established Kilchoman on Islay in 2005, and the family business now includes their three sons across distilling, hospitality, sales and marketing. The distillery sits within Rockside Farm on Islay’s north-west coast, surrounded by 2,300 acres of cropland and grazing ground.
For its single-farm programme, every stage takes place on the property, from growing the barley to bottling the whisky. The barley is floor-malted, spread on concrete and turned by hand before being dried with Islay peat. Fermentation lasts ninety hours, followed by distillation in small stills.
