The palate is powerful yet nuanced, with dense fruit supported by long, silky tannins and a fresh, measured line of acidity. Chocolate and dark berries carry through the persistent finish. Decant generously and pair with roast beef, lamb or wild mushrooms.

About Mission Hill
Anthony von Mandl acquired Golden Valley winery in 1981 and renamed it Mission Hill. The West Kelowna estate has a stone courtyard, bell tower and barrel cellars carved into volcanic rock.
Oculus is its flagship wine, alongside the Reserve and Legacy collections. Following the Okanagan freeze, selected 2024 wines drew on partner vineyards in California, Oregon and New Zealand.
