Kita Shuzo Kirakucho Tokiwataru Sake 720 mL

$58.99

Delicate ginjo aromatics and rice umami meet in an intricate, quietly powerful profile. The palate balances finesse with a deep core of flavour, carrying the savoury grain character through a measured, layered middle. Low-temperature maturation preserves the elegant shape while allowing the rice to remain clearly present. The final impression stays layered and poised, leaving gentle aromatics, rice depth and restrained power together.

About Kita Shuzo
Kita Shuzo was founded in 1820, when Gizaemon Kita began brewing in the fertile Kotō plain at Yōkaichi, now part of Higashiomi in Shiga Prefecture. Eighth-generation head Yoshimichi Kita now leads the family brewery. Its Kirakucho name was chosen as a wish for joy and conviviality. The house calls its ideal taoyaka: graceful sake with deep koji flavour and a smooth, gentle texture. The brewing team closely controls rice absorption and temperature, using sensory judgement alongside those measurements.
