Intense ruby with a violet edge, opening on black plum, blueberry compote and dark chocolate. Baking spice, resin and leather add savoury depth. The palate is full-bodied and generous, with firm tannins balanced by fresh acidity, carrying ripe dark fruit and warm spice through a long, composed finish.

About Giuseppe Campagnola
The Campagnola family has been rooted in Valpolicella wine for five generations, with the modern house tracing its story to 1907. After Carlo Campagnola died young, Caterina Zardini continued the business. Their son Giuseppe later sold the farm's wines through a Verona osteria before moving the family and production to Valgatara during the 1940s.
Several generations later, Giuseppe Campagnola, his sisters Antonella and Monica, and his sons lead the company. The estate vineyards are supplemented by fruit from more than fifty growers around Marano. Wines from Verona and Valpolicella remain at the heart of the range.
