Dominique Belluard 2020 Monsieur Gringet Vin de Savoie
$105.99
Alpine acidity carries a broad spectrum of fruit, moving from bright citrus through orchard tones to a more tropical edge. The palate combines waxy texture with a firm mineral backbone, giving the wine both breadth and precision. Complex and energetic, it remains lifted and focused through a long, distinctive finish.

About Dominique Belluard
Dominique Belluard took over his family's mixed-farming estate at Ayze in 1988 and gradually devoted it to wine. His life's work centred on Gringet, the rare Alpine white variety that he championed across the steep slopes of the Arve valley. The vineyards, with their limestone scree, marl and glacial soils, were converted to biodynamic farming in 2001.
Belluard died in 2021. He had completed the vinification of Monsieur Gringet 2020, whose ageing was finished by Jean-François Ganevat. The property later continued as Domaine du Gringet under Vincent Ruiz and collaborators.
