Dark cherry and violet lead into sweet spice and a stony, savoury undertone. The palate is rich yet lifted, with juicy Sangiovese fruit, bright acidity and firm, polished tannins carrying the wine through a long finish. Its depth suits roast beef, braised dishes, wild mushrooms or mature Pecorino.

About ColleMassari
ColleMassari was established by the Tipa-Bertarelli family in 1998 in the Maremma foothills of Monte Amiata. Near Cinigiano, the estate combines vineyards with woodland, olive groves and arable fields. Of its 1,230 hectares, roughly 115 are planted to vines. The estate farms organically.
Sangiovese is central to the estate's work, with an old-vine selection programme and research collaborations with the Universities of Pisa and Florence. Designed by Edoardo Milesi, the gravity-flow cellar is built into the hillside, with water recovery and solar power.
