Lemon candy and tangerine peel lead the nose, sharpened by earthy tones and dried savoury herbs. The palate is bright and citrus-driven, with semi-sweet fruit held in balance by zesty lime acidity. A light astringent grip adds shape to the finish, keeping the wine brisk, focused and refreshing.

About Nik Weis – St. Urbans-Hof
Nik Weis – St. Urbans-Hof is a family Riesling estate founded in Leiwen in 1947. Its roughly 45 hectares follow the Mosel and Saar for about 60 kilometres, taking in steep slate vineyards with different soils and exposures. Nik Weis leads the property in its third generation, continuing the nursery and winegrowing work begun by his grandfather.
The estate joined the VDP in 2000 and works five sites classified as VDP.Grosse Lage, as well as old-vine parcels for its village wines. Fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts.
