About Weingut Stefan Meyer
In Rhodt unter Rietburg, Stefan Meyer continues a winegrowing tradition that began with his great-grandfather, a grower and wine merchant. His grandfather founded the present estate and began bottling its wines in the 1950s. Today its vineyards cover sixteen hectares.
Organic certification dates to the 2021 vintage, and the vineyard work also draws on biodynamic ideas. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentation and long ageing on the lees are central to Meyer’s approach.
