Trentino-Alto Adige
Abbazia di Novacella 2023 Lagrein
A deep-coloured Alto Adige Lagrein with cherry, dark berries, cocoa and violet. Full-bodied yet velvety, it has enough freshness for braised meat, mushrooms or aged cheese.
Barone Fini 2024 Valdadige Pinot Grigio
Delicate floral aromas and lemon appear with honeydew, ripe apple, baked pear, candied lemon zest and almond biscotti. The wine is light-bodied and stony, with bright acidity, warm minerality and a crisp, lingering mouthfeel. Pinot Grigio is handpicked from vineyards at the foot of the Alps in the Valdadige DOC. Alcohol is twelve and a half percent.
Foradori 2020 Lezèr Vigneti delle Dolomiti
Purple-violet in colour, the wine combines berries, plum, cherry and floral notes with a fresh, juicy and light profile. Twenty separately fermented lots are assembled, using vessels that include barrels, amphorae, stainless steel and cement. Crunchy acidity accompanies red-berry and black-fruit character. The wine is made in Trentino and carries the Vigneti delle Dolomiti designation.
Abbazia di Novacella 2023 Pinot Grigio Alto Adige
Pale straw colour accompanies citrus, peach and honeydew melon. The wine is medium-rich, fruity and direct, with orchard fruit. Tangy acidity appears on the finish. Vineyards stand between 600 and 700 metres on permeable moraine deposits of mica schist, paragneiss and quartzite. Grapes are harvested by hand; three quarters ferment and mature for six months in stainless steel, with one quarter in large oak casks.
Alois Lageder 2014 Porer Pinot Grigio
Brilliant straw yellow with a green shimmer, the wine is aromatic and opulent, with pronounced mineral notes and oak spice. Clean, grapey flavours sit in a full-bodied, soft and creamy texture. The finish is fresh, and the wine is long and aromatic on the palate. Dried apple, lime and lemon are also present, with tangy acidity and a lemon-rind aftertaste.
Foradori 2014 Fontanasanta Manzoni Bianco
Made entirely from Incrocio Manzoni, this white wine is vinified with its skins in cement and rests for twelve months in acacia casks. Olive oil and fresh bread appear with mimosa, acacia honey and soft moss. The profile has both vigour and liveliness, while the wine carries eleven-and-a-half percent alcohol. Skin contact lasts about one week.
Foradori 2018 Fontanasanta Nosiola
Green apple and pear meet fresh herbs, light flowers and a measured touch of honey. The palate is clear and lively, with skin contact bringing gentle phenolic texture rather than heaviness. Savoury herbal detail and firm freshness keep the fruit precise, while amphora ageing contributes quiet depth. The finish is long, dry and delicately structured, carrying apple, herbs and a faintly earthy mineral note.
Foradori 2011 Granato Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT
Elderberry, cranberry and blackberry lead a dark, youthful nose, followed by sour cherry, black pepper, clove and cinnamon. The palate is taut and densely structured, with juicy fruit, firm minerality and increasingly approachable tannins. Complex and built to develop, it benefits from air and suits braised beef or lamb shanks.
Foradori 2019 Teroldego Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT
Deep dark purple in the glass, with red berries, flowers and mint shaping an attractive, lifted nose. The palate is rich yet refined, combining good acidity with clear minerality and a supple, velvety texture. Structured and balanced, it carries fresh fruit and herbal detail through a long, composed finish.
Loacker 2021 Morit St. Magdalener Classico DOC
Ruby red with a purple rim, opening on cherry, strawberry and forest fruit. Green bell pepper and black pepper add lift and savoury definition. The palate is light and supple, with bright acidity and soft tannins. A long, clean finish keeps the fruit vivid and the overall shape finely balanced.
