Tejo

Deep ruby colour introduces aromas of violet and red fruit with notes of wood. The palate is full-bodied, with balanced acidity, velvety tannins and a long, structured finish. Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet grow on clay-limestone soils in the Tejo region. Vinification includes a pre-fermentation maceration for aromatic extraction and supple tannins. The wine contains between thirteen and fourteen percent alcohol.

Soft, ripe and spicy, this Portuguese red is generously textured. Black fruit and acidity shine through an open structure, and the palate remains easy to drink. Ripe fruit and spice give the wine a generous character, while acidity stays clearly present within its open shape. It is a direct, dark-fruited style built around texture, freshness, spice and openness.
